I think that this is Sondheim's most underappreciated show.

Yet...it's hilarious. One of, if not, the funniest he's written...and at the same time it is EXTREMELY political.

Who else here would like to sing the praises of this great show?

I think the lyrics are a bit spotty. It can be good if the cast is great, though.

'Frogs' is very funny. I haven't seen it, but I have the recording. So from only having listened to it, I don't exactly have an expert opinion, but I still think it's wonderful.

But please. No film adaptation! It seems like everyone wants to make everything into a movie nowadays, and I think having a film version spoils the stage version a bit.

...Which I haven't seen, so I should keep my mouth shut.

Sorry that this is an old topic but I just bought the cast recording last night and I've already lisetened to it straight through twice (I've probably listened to the title song a good 15 times already). I LOVE IT!!!! Yes, it's message is very much needed right now.
