The FrogsShould I invest in the soundtrack from the frogs? And isn't the studio version supposed to be better?

I would buy almost every other SJS shows before The Frogs. The Broadway cast album is more comprehensible, has a few added songs, some of which are nice. It also has the best version of Fear No More. The studio cast has some songs that were dropped begause of unstageability, I suppose. They are still often great. It also has the added Evening Primrose, which is rather good. I think I'd get the studio cast first.

I adore the Frogs. and I prefer the new cast with Nathan Lane and Roger Bart above the other recording.
I think its witty, clever and it has a strong staement to make. I dotn see why so many Sondheim fans don't like the show. its better than many of his lesser shows, its no Company or Follies but its stronger by far than Anyone Can Whistle,Evneing Primrose,Bounce or Passion.
and actuyally michael Siberry's "Fear no More" is the weakest ive heard. George Hearn's version is the most powerful.

It has a good statement, I agree.
