So they're basking under the tree whent eh fall a asleep. Along comes a cat who sees them and eats them up. As he's licking his paws, he says "Mmmm....I love baskin' robins."

That reminds me of an infamous practical joke at a Godspell dress rehearsal... The music break begins, Jesus and Judas are bouncing, and instead of saying "So- how can you take a speck of sawdust... etc," Jesus says, "So- how do you get ten thousand dead babies into a phone booth?" They go through the whole joke. The cast is shocked beyond belief, but the director is in stitches. Afterwards, he says, "If only we could get away with that in the show, but no." |
