The Errol Le Cain BooksJust a quick questions about the Errol Le Cain books, Growltiger's Last Stand and Mr. Mistoffelees:http://www.amazon.com/Growltigers-Last-Stand-T-Eliot/dp/0374428115/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1203971995&sr=1-1 http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Mistoffelees-Mungojerrie-Rumpelteazer-Eliot/dp/0152562303/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1203972110&sr=1-1 Does anyone own these books, and how did you rate the poems set to the illustrations? I'm getting my copies in a few days, just wondered what others thought of the books. They used to be sold on the 4th National Tour's kiosk back in the 90's, but I never purchased them. Have seen a few illustrations online and they look wonderful! Just wanted to give others a paws up about this. I can't mention the other book, since there are children posting on this forum, and the book mentions CATS in a heavy way and its NOT for younger readers. Have a few other books with CATS in them, in Catfantastic IV. Purrs, VTWC |

I have(or had, I'm not sure) both, and they're very cute. I recall Growltiger's Last Stand being much more amusing. |

They are lbasically illustrated versions of the poems for children. The pictures are fun, but not amazing. The Awful Battle of the Pekes and the Pollicles with the Growltiger book is fun to see illustrated.
There's another book you can't mention by the author? I didn't know he illustrated other books related to cats. |
