The College Thread for the new class 0f 2012I know you all don't know where you're going yet but a lot of you do so we should have a thread were we can share where we're all going.
I'm going to UC Davis majoring in theatre but i'm hoping to double major in theatre and music composition. And I'll be the 100th class, pretty cool.

Graduating from college and entering another! It's weird.

NYU bound!!!! I don't know yet if I'll be able to afford to finish there, but if I need to wrap up my degree at a cheaper institution like McGill back home, I will. But for now.....

Northeastern University . Theatre major...I will hopefully be making it a double major in Communications.
Oh yeah, and technically, I'm Class of 2013, because of the kick-ass co-op program.

They were okay. I had a really bad freshman year and an okay sophomore year. Junior and first semester senior year I worked my butt off. I had a 2110 SAT score.
I think was really helped me was my essay and the fact that I applied ED.
When are you applying?

Just for the 2 year certificate for now... We'll see about Juilliard after that. If not, I'll complete my BFA in LA.

I forgot to mention that all of my best friends (except one  ) are going to New York with me.
I have 3 going to Tisch at NYU.
One going to AMDA.
One going to Manhattan School of Music.
YAAAY Life is good.

I have three classmates going to Stella Adler Conservatory.
The three of them are super tight. I'm friends with all of them, but not close.
I'm praying one good friend of mine gets into Tisch. She hasn't heard yet because she applied as a transfer. I think she will get it. She's brilliant. I'm also hoping that if she does (*fingers crossed*) we can room together. I also need to negotiate with NYU and see what I can skip because I've done CEGEP for three years. In retrospect, I really should have applied as a transfer. My advisor at school told me that I couldn't, but my friend's found a way. ARGH. I have over 80 college credits, almost entirely in theatre courses, I've been slaving for 3 years to earn! I should be able to skip a ton. I hope so!!!
I also have one good friend moving back to New Jersey, where she is from, to intern at a NJ playhouse.
I'm so glad I won't be completely on my own. New city, new state, new country!
