The chance to express veiws on disliking a show.

i just thought it might be gd for people to say theyre most hated musical instead of gushing at the same ones.

my current musical dislikes (or like the least):

saturday night fever
EDWIN
grease
and.....im not so crazy bout joseph

any veiws will be welcome Very Happy
diva!

ooh im not a fan of Joseph! :p

i do NOT LIKE EDWIN either! haha
.belle.

not many people have heard of edwin. i think it might be like the new wicked.....i hope not cuz i think its really poor. i see you are playing edwin gd luck hahaha. guess its the main part and u cant relle knock any1 getting the lead. yeh joseph just very short and weird. i saw the rent movie with one of my best friends whos a bit cheeky yesterday and relle liked it. i cant judge the show cuz i havent seen it but the film is pretty good. MIMI IS AMAZING

xXXx
diva!

...you're quite...cheeky aren't you?
RyanJ

I strongly dislike CATS, Phantom, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, I think Sondheim is a genius for being able to write music for so many shows (but they still look weird), and I have a guilty pleasure of listening to Wicked.
.belle.

thats a bit weird Confused
i dont relle know u but thanks for posting a reply.
.belle.

hey RyanJ i meant my last reply to diva! - yeh i dont relle CATS i mean whats with that cats singing and dancing its a bit .....creepy. i do listen to wicked quite a lot it makes me happy. i so think sondheim has changed with the times and created many new and diverse musicals as time has gone on. All his musicals have different riffs/melodys unlinke one famous writer.

That was a conversation?

I really don't like being mean, but that just annoyed the crap out of me.

I do not like Ain't Misbehavin' and I think RENT is overrated.

rockyrocks666

i was enjoying reading this topic untill some people came and POINTLESSLY started being nasty about it!
i have to say that my worst musicals are:
GREASE (HATE IT)
joseph
jekyll and hide

i agree that EDWIN is still a work in progress, but i can see it being the next wicked with some work. i hear it has a fab cast!
.belle.

I don't want to bitch about them because some expressed their veiws about musicals. Some didn't. Yes i no, Jekyll and Hyde isn't the best thing around.

x-x-x
rockyrocks666

lol yeh. jekyll and hide is just one big badley written mess of a musical!
Fantine

Hyde... At least get the name right when you dislike a musical. And I am not being bitchy here, I just find that you have to know what you're talking about when posting stuff like that.
rockyrocks666

i do know what im talking about. i dont care about it enough to know hoe to spell it and anyway, we've already established im a crap speller
Fantine

Okay, fair enough.
.belle.

i didnt realise spelling was such an issue. look fantine no offence but u havent contributed to the forums title and it seems u just come in and say irelevant stuff. of course rockyrocks knows about hyde hes obviously seen it and so have i giving us right to make an opnion on it. a lot of people use slang and u still knew what he was saying.

please dont post anymore if it is not on the topic. it is just unessicarily upsetting people. and yes i no my spelling is bad i am dislexic but i dont think i needed to be able to spell correctly to be an actresss

I dont really like starlight express...

never seen it so dont shoot me..but i dont like the music.
are u ok belle? it seems u have been a little upset by this whole thing?
hope we can be friends Smile
rockyrocks666

i think starlights all about the spectical of it, thats why i really dont think it works as a tour! you need all the tracks and races in the full to make it a good show, and it really is when done fully!
Fantine

I apologise to you Belle.
Fantine

On the topic: I didn't really like Guys and Dolls. Everyone seems to adore it but... Well... Maybe it had to do with the language and that a lot of the jokes didn't work for me because of it.
rockyrocks666

fantine, what are your least fav shows?
diva!

Fantine's a softy at heart. We're best of friends now

rockyrocks666

sorry, i posted that late. i saw guys and dolls in london last saturday. it was good but not amazing. i think its a bit slow in places and the music isnt very inspiring

How charming. Would you like to buy a vowel?

In all honesty, I give credit to anyone who writes something worth reading. I can't even read half of what you write. We're not asking you to be perfect, we're asking you to be more clear. It's the internet--don't take it so personally.

Thanks! I really think the cut to a 90-minute show will help it in las Vegas. Less reprises THANK GOD! This gives you less of a chance to get so bored you fall asleep.
Mimi Marquez

Hmm let's see...

The Sound of Music
The Most Happy Fella
GREASE
Show Boat
1776
rockyrocks666

I think sound of music is a good film, cant imagine it on stage though.
LesWickedPhantom

I hated the first act of Wicked live. IMO, it was just complete garbage. It was painful at some points. But don't get me wrong, I did enjoy "One Short" and, of course, "Defying Gravity". Everything before and in between those songs was killing me to watch. Although it was just LIVE that I didn't like it. I actually do love most of the songs when I listen to the CD. And I really enjoyed the second act because of how much darker it got after Defying Gravity. Ben Vereen is god.
Nicely-Nicely

Well... some people are gonna kill me for this...

Rent
Chorus Line
Fiddler on the Roof (dont think anyone cares about that)
rockyrocks666

care to justify?
i can see the fiddler on the roof and chorus line perhaps.
i can see why people wouldnt like rent i guess aswell.

SUCK ON THAT SPELLING BITCHES Wink

Awww....bless. Is this a joke? If not...
Apparently having "busy lives" means that you have never had the time to pick up a book, paper, or any other written publication in your life. If you had surely you would have even a tiny grasp of the English language, which you clearly don't. If English isn't your first language, my apologies...
It always amuses me how upset people get by internet forum replies. Spelling is a courtesy, IMO. You wouldn't talk incoherently, so don't write incoherently. Just my opinion, and something I will never ever back down on.
Back to the topic, I have never enjoyed Oklahoma in any form or fashion. Annie is the most annoying character ever written. The songs are shmaltz, but not in the good way. I find most of it either boring or annoying to the point where I am grinding my teeth. Don't get me wrong, if I have to sit through it, I will. But only if there is no avoiding it.
I was interested to read that someone found Act one of Wicked unbearable- quite frankly I think Act 2 is where it all goes downhill! I have never seen the show and am desperate to, so can't really have any validity to what I say.
Mamma Mia is awful, awful, awful. I thought I was enjoying it when I saw it- the chorry, costumes, and general performance standard were fantastic. But the book- if you can call it that- feels like it's been written by some Sweet Valley High inspired highschooler. ABBA songs really don't translate well to music theatre. They all sound the same, and it's especially unbearable when they are sung every five minutes. I preferred the terrible dialogue by the end of the show. Anything is better than four ABBA songs belted/sreamed in a row.
Mimi Marquez

Amen, TheNextTenMinutes!

Mamma Mia! is complete and utter crap. I hate all of those pop-songs-turned-musicals these days. Except Movin Out. I love Movin Out.
Kaiana

Jekyll and Hyde. Wicked. Rent is over-rated. Cats. Annie. I think that's it. Ahh! And Honk. I did that at my school. Grrr... That felt good.
Mimi Marquez

OOOOO how about South Pacific?

That's complete and utter crap!
TheNextTenMinutes

I would never call South Pacific complete and utter crap...it's not my sort of show but it's a classic, and as a performer it will be our bread and butter. People don't always want to see new shows- they usually want the same old stuff!
But I do agree with you about jukebox musicals Mimi....except We Will Rock You. I've been brought up on old rock and Blackadder, so Ben Elton and Queen is a wining combination for me.

They're called revues for a reason.

Not that I'm defending that boring as hell show.
Salome

what is "edwin"? is it based on edwin booth?
rockyrocks666

no, its based on an old folk song
hershey04

I'll probably be shot in the face for this, but I really don't like My Fair Lady or The King and I. I've only seen the movie versions though, so maybe the stage versions are better. I know they're classics & everyone is supposed to love them...I don't know what it is, but I just don't.

Also, I hate George M!, if anyone has seen that. There's no plot--it's just a bunch of vignettes about his life.
Descartes

I'm just not a big revue person, which is probably why I focus on contemporary theatre and shows from 1960 onward.

Des.
Mimi Marquez

I loathe George M!
Claire2141

I really dislike Grease...I watched the repeat off 100 Greatest musicals that was created by Channel 4 here in the UK and was disgusted that it won.

I don't like Cats either or Chicago, both bored me to death. Singing in the Rain also is another on I don't rate that highly.
rockyrocks666

that tv show was awful! the only reason grease won is because its the only musical the general public know! i was horrified!
Jeronemy

Let's see, I hate:

The Boy From Oz
Joseph
Jesus Christ Superstar
Light in the Piazza (B-O-R-I-N-G!)
Beauty and the Beast (gag)
RyanJ

I can't stand:

Phantom of the Opera Mad
Cats
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
Anything by Andrew Lloyd Weber
The Producers
And Andrew Lloyd Weber again. I really can't stand this guy's shows, he deserves to be mentioned twice.

I'm not too big on musical revues, but they're usually bearable.
Pawzxx

I wasn't too keen on Seussical the musical. Cat in the hat never really done it for me sadly. Crying or Very sad
broadwaybaby124

I've never liked or understood Cats. It just seemed to me that there were a bunch of people the looked like cats crawling and dancing around on a stage while singing about how some old cat was gonna die.

I see that not many people like Grease. I've always liked Grease, its acutally my favorite movie, not musical, movie. My favorite musical is Chicago. Smile
Gwen

Well, before you say you dislike it if you don't understand it, you can look up a synopsis, though in my opinion quite a few are incorrect...I can send you one if you like. Cool Not trying to say it has to be your thing, but I think it would be better if you understood it before disliking it. Smile
Anyway...I'll have to say I really don't like Grease. I've had to watch the movie too many times to count...and not of my own free will either.
Hmm..what else...I really don't like Cinderella all that much. The versions I've seen make it look like she's handed everything on a silver platter, and don't give any feeling to it.
Annie I just find annoying, with the possible exception of It's a Hard Knocks Life. (possibly, not always.)
Yeah...and that'd be it.
redshoesrock

I'm a huge Beach Boys fan, and I was excited to hear a Beach Boys musical was in the works. When I went to see it - biggest let-down ever (although the eye-candy was very...you know). So my vote goes to "Good Vibrations".

I can't stand Oklahoma either - just a little too sugary-syrupy for my taste.

Though it's slated to appear off-Broadway sometime in spring 2007, but basing my opinion on the movie, I can already say with certainly I will loathe Xanadu. I wonder if the pitch was, "It's Starlight Express meets Saturday Night Fever!"

Oh god. Good Vibrations. So horrible. I saw it on a school trip to New York...hated it.

Although I found the scene where they were wearing Uggs at the beach hilarious. I'm from California...actually seems like it could happen.
mozurkz

I won't start on old musicals. There are a few good ones here and there, but I dislike most of them. I HATE phantom of the opera, I havn't SEEN it, but the score is boring. I dislike Chorus line. I was rasied on Cats, I've seen it so many times I CAN'T dislike it, I probaly would If i had first watched it recently. I dislike all disney musicals except the Lion King. Mumma mia, and other REALLY Pop-y musicals. My least favorite is Godspell. It sucks.
Gobsmacker

I couldn't stand STARLIGHT EXPRESS ('Cats' on skates).

I also didn't like LITTLE SHOP OF HORROR (the movie, didn't see the play). A CHORUS LINE was really long and not very engaging [though I did like one song, 'Nothing']. MAMMA MIA was another tedious show.
Sister Robert Anne

I have to agree on compilation musicals. Personally I don't think Mamma Mia was too bad as it was among the first of the genre, but We Will Rock You, Taboo, Tonight's The Night, Movin' Out - please, no more!

I'm not keen on either Rent or Aida because they just sound more like pop music to me than musical theatre. I also can't stand A Chorus Line, although that might have something to do with my irrational hatred for the name "Val".
Mademoiselle Lanoire

Mamma Mia is not exactly a Disney musical...

As for me... Grease (I despise the plot), Light in the Piazza (boring story and score), and Les Miserables (to an extent) - for nonsensical changes to the story and because the English lyrics were pretty poorly translated.

I agree! On a recent debate I posted there was a lot of agreement on this issue.
http://www.thestage.co.uk/stagetalk/viewtopic.php?t=7052

Here is one of my posts I wrote...

I am not very keen on some like Dancing in the Streets and We Will Rock You and the Rod Stewart musical Tonights the Night - like you pointed out. It annoys me so much as yes there are probably the next Sondheim of this world who are not given a chance becaue the theatre industy is overdwarfed by movies turned into musicals or life stories. (although that isn't the point of discussion here ) I really want to see the film version of RENT The industry needs to become more creative and daring but producers are probably worried they will lose profits if they take a risk, which is understandable but I don't agree.

Evil or Very Mad I can't stand Joseph, Cats, Starlight Express don't know why just despise them. And Mamma Mia of course. Cheese fest or what lol Laughing

i REALLY dont think Taboo can be classed as a compilation musical, most of the songs were especially for the musical and its actually a REALLY good show... well the U.K one anyway, it was very different on Broadway.
katieanne

i'm going to get shot, but i don't like sweeney todd. it's been shoved down my throat for years and i never thought it was anything all that special. i'd say more but i don't feel like having to defend it. i don't like it, the end. fangs away.

i don't like phantom. i think it's dull and boring.

i don't like working. i think it's a pathetic excuse for a musical. i work, i don't need to watch a musical about it. none of the music stands out as particularly good, either.

jukebox musicals can die.

there are more, but let's not be negative.

I don't really like Evita I used to but then it got boring after awhile.
Mr_X

Carousel.

Everyone at my school was so depressed about doing it, and I tried to cheer them up. But now I realize it wasn't that great to begin with:
1) Great songs...for the girls. Taking a look at Billy's, Mr. Snow's, and even Jigger's songs I realized that they kind of lacked.
2) From the beginning it seemed like Oklahoma!'s cousin that nobody spoke about. I provided the matching up. Billy was a more emotional Curly, Julie a more emotional Laurie, Carrie an Ado Annie in New England, Mr. Snow a weird combination of Will Parker and Ali Hakim, and the evil Jigger as the evil misunderstood Jud.
3) A lot of things weren't really cleared up in the end, despite Billy's 15 years in purgatory.
4) The ending I don't like at all. Like Oklahoma!'s ending (Curly accidentally killing Jud and the town letting him off the hook), it seems so unreal. There must be at least 10 better endings than Billy hitting his daughter, singing to his wife, and going to the graduation.
Ep-Griz-Reno

Hateeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ((Okay, DISLIKE)) Fiddler
bwaybrunette21

I don't really like Pal Joey, but maybe that's because the production I saw was appalling. None of the performers were on key and their acting bored me so much I was daydreaming. If I could see it again, I might, just to change my memories of that show.
lalala

*SHOCK!*

Ahh! Carousel is awesome! Or I think so anyway... but yes, the ending is kind of weird. And I have in fact referred to Oklahoma and Carousel as cousins on many occassions, nice to know that other people have clicked on to that. But no good songs for boys - what about about "Soliloquy"? And for an operatic male tenor, Mr Snow gets some cute songs with .. well, one epic note. I personally think that Julie gets no good songs.. she only really sings "What's the use of Wondering", which is boring.

But my least favourite musicals would be Working, Rent, Annie and all its sequels... I don't know. I actually really liked We Will Rock You, not so much as a musical, but if they had cut out all the dialogue and had a concert of all the music, I'd be happy!

Oh, and honourable mentions go to A Midsummer Night's Musical, a show that was recently written and performed in my town. Shakespeare set to pop music - cringeworthy moments when the chorus stood still on stage for a full five minutes singing the same line over and over ("Hail the duke, hail the duke, he won the election"). You could just make out some brat singing "he's got an erection" under everybody else. Oh! And who could forget the part where two lovers sit there, motionless and sing "The course of true lo-o-ove, never did run smo-o-oth" at each other over and over again for a full five minutes. GRRRRRRRRRR! I really like that play and it kind of ruined it for me.

tears of agony! its one of the worst shows Ive ever seen.Right up there with Children Of Eden.

theo nly good song is 'Another Pyramid".
Tiny-Tot

I agree Grease is my least favorite musical. It is one of the only shows that I really like the movie better than the stage version.
Salome

I'm not a Grease fan at all..but I still like the stage version more because all the good songs were cut from the film.
TheNextTenMinutes

Salome, you took the words right out of my mouth. I mean, come on! Freddy my Love, Mooning and Magic Changes are much better than anything Sandy or Danny sings. Guh.

Gobsmacker wrote:

You should see the play-I personally think it's a LOT better than the movie. It has different music, a whole different ending, and lots of other differences which I perfer to the movie-although I do like both.

I never really liked Oklahoma or The Fantasticks. I'm not quite sure why- I can't think of anything really bad about either-I guess they just aren't my type of show or something.
ClareBell

I hated Grease... well no, I liked it 1st time I saw it when I was 13, I took my mum n dad 3 years ago and it's gone really stale.
Wasn't kean on Tell Me On A Sunday either 2nd time round, saw it 1st with Denise Van Outen in London then Martie Webb in Manchester (she was crap).
Didn't rate Chicago (Tour) much with Jennifer Ellison worst Roxi Hart I've ever seen, n I've seen it a few times.
bwayluvor31

I can't stand: Annie, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Woman in White.

Annie just makes me mad. JATD is Webber at his worst (in my opnion) and WIW makes me dissapointed in Webber because the music sounds like he was trying to be Sonheim, but he didn't know how, so it just came out all wrong.
Da_Dark_Dude

i despise joseph as well
shakalakababy

I HATE Godspell. Maybe I just saw a bad production but i think it was more then that. The whole time i felt like i was in some messed up sunday school but i couldn't leave because one of my good friends was in it so i wanted to stay and support her.
Eponine93

Hmm...

I hate Joseph and will have to be paid about a million dollars to be in it again. Everytime I hear it, I die inside.

Also, I'm not a huge fan of Chicago. I can't give a real reason why I dislike it, I just find the music and movie very boring, The plot is also fairly pointless.

I don't understand why people like Godspell. I believe in God and everything but Godspell is just wierd. It doesn't really portray Christians that well.

Finally, I like Stephen Sondhiem but I don't understand the big hype over Sweeney Todd. To be fair, I've never seen it and only know a few of the songs but does anyone besides me find the concept a little disgusting and disturbing?

Wasn't Crazy for You the first compilation musical? It has great songs (yay Gerswin!) but a terrible, terrible, terrible book and less of a plot than most musical revues.
broadwaybelle22

I really dislike South Pacific, I just pretty much hate all the music in it. I'm also not too fond of Wicked, but that's mostly because too many people are obsessed with it now.

The concept of murdering people when they're getting a shave really isn't that important. Yes there is black humor relating to this, so I suppose you have to find that sort of thing funny. But the really important thing about Sweeney Todd is the various emotions that are portrayed by the characters. It is far more about the characters and what they're going through (as I think any good show should be) than about murdering people. The concept is really just the best way to present the emotions. I think the depth of emotion in Sweeney Todd is something that is really lacking in many shows *cough*Wicked*cough*

Yeah-I agree that Godspell isn't really the most amazing show-but the thing about it is, you can't judge it at all from seeing one production. That's one show that everytime you see it it's totally different. Most of the script is NOT set in stone, when I was in it, we wrote almost the entire thing. You can really make it relate to the people you're performing for, and the time period (such as, we had many references to Starbucks and had a guest appearance from Spongebob). Also, it's probably one of the most fun plays you can be in, it's totally high energy and you can just go crazy and have a good time.

As for Sweeney Todd, I saw the video and I know the music. I don't think it's Sondheim's greatest musical (that would be Into the Woods. Smile lol) or anything, but it's better than it sounds. It is a very morbid topic, but that's not the ENTIRE story. It's also just well done, I think that helps a lot. Not all of the songs are amazing, but there are quite a few great ones, and the harmonies in some of the group number (Ballad of Sweeney Todd especially) sound like they're REALLY hard. I wouldn't know, I've never been in the show or seen sheet music, but they sound pretty hard. I'd reccomend seeing it before judging it-although if you're really squeamish like my mom-it might not be the best idea. lol
I Love Lockstock

Joseph makes me want to pull my hair out. I saw a mini-performance of a few Joseph songs, and I was near tears. It's painful to listen to, watch....ugh.

Jesus Christ Superstar has the same effect on me. Except it's more annoying, cause one of my popular phrases is 'Jesus Christ!' and if I happen to be around theatre people, I hear a chorus of 'Superstar!'s. Very annoying,
Mme Fauchevelant

Good. I'm not the only one who hates/"greatly dislikes" Oklahoma. That musical has about as much depth as a kiddie pool. No offense, but I think R&H are overrated. At the same time, I respect the fact that they created all those musicals people have come to love...I just don't like their musicals as much as I used to.

I also despise Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat. Why I ever liked this musical is beyond me (I must have been really young. Really bad taste back then).

I can't stand Annie so much, either.
sadie1208

Shows that I don't like are

I HATE Cats. I think it is the stupidest show ever concieved. For me to think about the fact that it is the second longest running broadway show is sickening. There is absolutely no explanation for how and why it ran so long.

I hate Chicago. I think that the movie was crap. I don't like the fact that the main character lies, commits audultry, murders, and seduces and gets away with it. I love Sweeney Todd and people ask me how I can love Sweeney and hate Chicago. It's because in Sweeney everyone gets one is comming to them and they DON'T get away with anything.

I hate A Chorus Line. It is a stupid concept for a show.

I hate Anyone Can Whistle. It could have been great, as the whole idea for the show doesn't sound that bad, interesting, even. However, I don't know what Sondheim was doing when he wrote it. I LOVE Sondheim, but I really don't like Anyone Can Whistle.

I love most musicals, but I really dislike A Chorus Line. The music and concept did nothing for me.

I really don't get Phantom of the Opera. I understand it is a spectacle, not high class theatre, ect., ect., ect. I enjoy about 5 of the songs, think they have great melodies. You all know what songs I'm talking about. Those are the songs EVERYONE knows. The rest of the music makes me want to cry. I understand its filler music and dialogue music mostly, but.... OW! IT BURNS!

If you find no depth in Oklahoma you havent really seen it. watch the London revival with Josephina Gabrielle and Hugh Jackman.

or the video of my production. Wink

I don't understand why so many people like Sweeney Todd. I tried my best to like that musical but I just couldn't. When I saw the DVD Broadway screening of the musical before the live performance that my school will do, it looked boring and sounded boring. I thought it was just how the stage production was filmed on DVD that made it boring, so I decided to wait until I see the live staging myself.

I just did the other night, and no matter how good the actors were and how okay (yes, okay -- I didn't really like our theatre teacher's way of putting that whole 'abstract twist' to the set by using red curtains to obscure the murders and white curtains for the background), it just didn't cut it for me. I only began to take interest in the musical near the end of Act II.

It's just that I don't like the type of songs they have in Sweeney Todd. I'd rather watch musicals that have a much more 'hummable' feel to it, you know what I mean?

Maybe when Tim Burton's film adaptation of the musical hits the movie theaters this December, my opinion will change. Or not.

I'm quite easy to please, but when I tried watching West Side Story...it was too schmaultzy I guess...other than that, I've liked everything else I've seen...which is weird becasue often times also share opinions with the haters, i.e. I totally agree tha Wicked doesn't have the emotional depth of the book, or other shows, but it doesn't bug me and it still remains one of my favourite shows. Same deal with POTO...although, lack of emotional depth can be argued depending on the Phantom you see. Cats tooo, I found ti fuhn to watch, but the lack of a storyline makes irt a tad confusing.

and for Oklahaoma! one word: Jud Fry (okay that's two)...the only character with at least some emotional depth.

Sweeney Todd...the music gets me evrey time...love the ballads and the chorus.

if you think Jud is the only character in Oklahoma with emotional depth..then you never saw a good production.

Salome is right - that production of Oklahoma was A M A Z I N G...I saw it live and loved it! And was never much of a fan of the original film. Also not a fan of Joseph, urgh! Annie has it's place...

Shows I am not a fan of/dislike:

All compilation musicals including We will rock you, Mamma Mia, etc - they are not musicals in my eyes and most have cheap, stupid stories built around songs that should not be sung in MT style in the first place

The woman in white - just not good

Mack and Mabel - great score but weak book

Martin Guerre

Beautiful and the damned - terrible

Notre dame de Paris - terrible

Once on this island - somehow this didn't do it for me at all

Rent - don't like it but can see why some people do

Seven brides for seven brothers - can see appeal of the film but apart from some great dancing I really didn't like this on stage

Starlight Express - wasn't convinced

Urinetown the musical - I'm sorry but I was in this and still thought it was bad

Fame - love the film, hate the stage version

The beautiful game - I just got bored

I didn't like Caroline or Change but I could appreciate it for what it was

Chicago - I don't dislike it but it just doesn't touch me

De-Lovely the film - appalling!

High School musical - I watched 20 mins of the first one and couldn't bear to watch any more!

Jerry Springer - I can see how this appeals and appreciate for being different - but I just hated the music

Joseph - no, really just don't like it
