I got asked to direct for a local company that i acted with last year. The show that i'm really considering doing is The Adventures of Tom Sawyer the musical. Can anyone tell me any thing about this show, such as ages, dance, orchestration, etcetra. Anything you could tell me would be great!

i just finished playing tom a couple days ago, awful show

fun times, fun lead, funny moments

but the writing and music, simply not great - it lasted on broadway for 34 days for a reason

but it can be very fun, and if done extremely well it'll come off mediocre

i suggest seeing the really old movie, with jodie foster. if you can get your hands on a copy.

horrible book and score, recently went up for a month in Vegas and only got good reviews (although not the best) because a great director was at the helm.

do Big River instead. Same story, better music
