Just a quick post to say thanks to the peeps on MDN (especially Jazzy!). I finally learned to "act the song" while giving my audition and got a great role (another Soprano part? Wierd! Oh well!) It's quite a professional group so for the first time I feel like I "earned" it, as opposed to just being "lucky".

And It's been a while since I've done a show, so I'm excited! Yippeee!

The show is Guys and Dolls. I auditioned for Adelaide, but got cast as Sarah (I can totally see why now!). I didn't even consider her intitally becuase she's listed as a soprano, so I was quite surprised to get offered the role, but I'm really looking forward to it! It is sooo worth the wait!

And Jazzy, I definitely owe part of this to you and some of the others on these boards. So thanks!!

So does that mean I can put "Sarah" on my own resume?

I wish!...That's a role I've wanted to play, but haven't! You'll have to let us know how rehearsals are going, etc! I'm really happy for you!
