Actually, Jack Black just played Herod out in California, and while he does have the chops for Judas, I think he'd be a better Herod.

Now that's something I'd love to see. I think my favorite Herod is still Alice Cooper.

Mary - I don't care... let's say HEATHER HEADLEY
Pilate - PHILIP QUAST
Herod - I don't care... maybe OZZY OSBOURNE
Caiaphas - FRANKIE STEVENS
Annas - DANNY ZOLLI
Simon - for some reason ANWAR ROBINSON from some american idol -season comes to my mind
And ofcourse you would have to have the three tenors as the soul girls.

Now THAT'S great. 
Although I'd replace Anwar Robinson with that guy from the 2001 Mexican Cast, or with Russel Stevens from the Aussie 92.

We need a better Herod for that cast and it'd be perfect. Someone like....Adam Sandler. Also, I love Danny, but I think Axl Rose would make a killer Annas. I'm leaving Danny down because he actually knows the part, but Axl would be a decent choice, maybe even a good Jesus.

All I know is that I would have ---- killed to have heard Freddie Mercury take on the role of Judas. That would be awesome! His vocal range was perfect for the part. A bit strange that he was never asked to do guest vocals for any of Webber's musicals..too obvious choice maybe? I know he performed the title track to Dave Clark's musical "Time" though..
