Sunday MatineeIm going to the day performance and almost know, and completly dnt want to agree, that mark and rodger will have an understudy, but if its a sunday matinee, do u think they will?
I have gone to shows where they havnt, and some where they have, and i have even gone to a friday night show and 3 leads all had understudys, so its unpredicatble!

It really is unpredictable. It's all out of pure luck.
If you want to have a better idea of your chances of seieng an understudy, then go to a couple of RENT message boards and see if the specific actors you are hoping to catch have any planned absences or vacations coming up.

Anthony has not missed a performance to date and the only ones Adam has missed have been when he was out with an injury.

They didnt have an understudy, but joanne did, it was ok though,

Don't worry, Rent isn't the sort of tour that always puts understudies on for matinees. The only reason the leads would be out is for illness or something. And Anthony, at least, hasn't missed a show yet.
