Strange version

I vaguely remember reading an article about some staging of ITW that was very risque.

I don't know much about the history of this show, maybe it's one of the major productions.

Can anyone give me any info?
The Drama Queen

There are several things in the OBC that I would consider risque.
-The Wolf has an atomically correct costume that is emphasized by a blunt pelvic thrust at the end of his song.
-The Witch is cast several spells that are aimed at the Baker and Baker's Wife' private areas.
-The Baker's Wife and Cinderella's Prince rolling on to the stage together.
-Also a lot of the female's costumes in the OBC are a bit more revealing then neccessary (particulary the Stepsisters and The Witch).
TheWitch

There have been a few productions of ITW that try to bring out the "adult situations" a bit more. Just like Drama Queen said: In the OBP the Wolf had a very visable penis. His song "Hello Little Girl" is also quite sexual. One of the productions that went the darker more adult route, I believe, was done with The Stratford Festival a couple of years ago. I never saw it but know a few people who did. I remember one saying that at some point during the show A life sized drawing of a naked woman was seen sliding across the stage. I, personaly, have no idea what that was for, but every one that I know who saw it said that it was an incredible production. Hope this helps.

Yup. That's the production I heard about.
