Every year the juniors at Stephens College go to Spirit Lake, Iowa, to do summer stock at Okoboji Summer Theatre. This year our first show is Godspell!

June 19-24
This is the No. 1 requested show by OST audiences and so it is only right that we open our 50th Anniversary season with one of the biggest Off-Broadway and Broadway successes of all time. Lamby Hedge directs a wonderful company as we joyously spread the message of kindness, tolerance and love. It is our gift to everyone who has supported and loved the Okoboji Summer Theatre.

Special Ticket Rates
Group Rate
Groups of 16 or more will receive a $2 discount off the regular ticket price. No discounts on children's tickets. Discount vouchers cannot be used for payment on group orders. Tickets must be paid at least 2 weeks before the performance date. Before May 5, send a letter to the address above. After May 5, call the box office for more information.

Two for the Price of One
Two students (13 and above) will be admitted for the regular price of one on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Two senior citizens will be admitted for the price of one on Saturdays at 4:30 p.m. and Sundays at 6 p.m. Indicate 2-for-1 on your order. Offer not good on single tickets. No exchanges or refunds on 2-for-1 tickets. No Senior two-for-one discounts for groups.

Discount Booklets
Available for $120, on sale through June 22. Contains one ticket for all 9 productions. Vouchers must be turned in before the day of performance to hold seats. Vouchers act only as payments, not as reservations or tickets. Obtain booklets through Summer Theatre Association members or mail in an order form. Booklets may also be purchased at the First Bank and Trust, Spirit Lake, Iowa. Contact Deb Dittsworth, (712) 336-2180.

is it possible to audition for the Stephens summer stock? I live in Iowa and would love a summer job in Okoboji!

I'm not sure..............It's mostly Stephens students and faculty. There are paid guests, but they're all friends and former students. You would have to contact Beth Leonard next year any way, because the entire cast list is decided already. Auditions for the students were a couple of weeks ago.

You should go and see them anyway! (I won't be there)
