Spanish PanicJust wondering what the "basic step" for this usually looks like. I've never seen the original movie or a professional version of OUAM. The "flip your skirt, open, close, right right right" is obviously a bit ambiguous, so I was curious how choreographers have utilized this phrase. If someone could describe what they've done or seen, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

For "open" we spread our legs, for "close" we closed them, and for "right right right" we jumped to the right three times. Our choreographer was a moron, though.

We changed the lines to suit the dance that we choreographed.

I love our spanish panic , we used the sarah jessica version
we began with some simple steps with a partner some fleminco type stuff
until the queen yells the first time half the cast drops, then its some 80's (fame -esque) stuff .
then its jsut the leads dauntless and fred in a dance - a- riffic conga line
Then every one drops off but fred and dauntless and they do a pretty intense pasa doble ( im watching too much dancing with the stars) type stuff with a matadore cape .
its amazing

For our opening steps, we lifted our skirts, opened our legs, closed them and then hopped to the right three times, with out left leg extended at a funny angle. As the song progressed we built more steps off those and went much faster. As long as you're tired enough to drop by the end, it's good.

Our Spanish panic ends up going by so fast (as in, it's short) that I doubt it looks all that tiring. Dauntless and myself (Fred) are both overweight, so we are MORE than ready for it to end by the time it does, however. It's definitely acting when I suggest we do it again!

For the "flip your skirt" part, both guys and girls kinda did a sidways kick backwards and tilted our heads to the left.
For "open, close" we kinda squatted and came back up.
For "right, right, right" we did a gallop-ish move to the right.
It pretty much rocked
