South Pacific ClimaxI see South Pacific as a possibility of being my school musical, and I was wondering how the ending is handled with Cable and the French planter being on a Japanese island. In the original movie, there an't any songs within the last half hour of the film while this situation is occuring. So, what is the ending (or maybe it's a larger portion of Act II, I don't know) like in the stage show?

The play is similar to the film. except instead of seeing DeBeque and Cable on the island you just hear them over ithe wireless radio in Bracket's office.

Also, there's a song in the stage version that's not in the movie (I think), when the officers are talking about how everyone's moving out & leaving the island to make their attack, or whatever--right after that there's a reprise of Honey Bun.
At the very end is a reprise of Dites Moi w/ Nellie & the kids when Emile comes in. But I'm pretty sure that's in the movie.

Right, I didn't mean there was a song about it, that's just what they're talking about (w/ instrumental music behind it). Then at the end of that scene, there's a reprise of Honey Bun, which I don't think is in the movie.
What I wrote the first time doesn't actually make sense, now that I'm reading it again.
