Soundtracks

For those of you who haven't read my other post, my school is doing DY for our spring musical (please leave me some tips for my audition in the other thread if you have any!). I'd really like to get the cd and start practicing, but I can't decide between the three versions - anybody have any recommendations? (I think I'd prefer the broadway recording, but let me know what you think...)

The revival cd is amazing! Singing...orchestrations...character...all great! However, the rights aren't available for the revival (which had tons of changes to it...check one of my other posts in this forum, I think), so your school will almost definitely be doing the original...so you could get the original or the revival, but I suggest the revival, as Bebe Neuwirth and what's-his-face are amazing as Lola and Applegate, respectively, and their character interpretations show through amazingly on the cd.
