Sounds like someone is researching Alan Lerner. Clear Day and Gigi are 2 of my favorite shows.

Do you want the lyrics or the actual MP3 files?
For the lyrics, why don't you try Google? If you're looking for the MP3 files, just PM me and I can send you to a site where you can download pretty much any cast recording for a very low price of $0.00.

On a Clear Day You Can See Forever has some of Lerner's best lyrics ever! I had the pleasure of being in my group's production of it last summer. "What Did I Have That I Don't Have" and "Come Back to Me" are the best, in my opinion...ALSO...the version that Tams-Witmark liscences for is a revised version, not the original. As a result "Tosy and Cosh" and "Don't Tamper With My Sister" were cut and the song "When I'm Being Born Again" is changed to a chorus number called "When I Come Around Again". In addition, Melinda sings a verse or two of "She Wasn't You" but is title "He Wasn't You". There is also a small group number called "The Soliciter's Song" sung by four of the men from the past.

[color=blue]Does anyone know how to look for specific lyrics in order to determine the name of the song and the title of the musical from which they came?
Specifically, I am trying to find the lyrics "He liked it, he really liked it. Would you be interested in being the assistant choreographer of my Broadway show?"
Thanks for your help.

The song you are talking about is "It's Not Where You Start" by Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields, from SEESAW (circa 1973). I think maybe Sally Field heard that opening line.
I used this as my final song when my show tunes radio program had its final program due to the station changing format in Aug, 1999.
