I just realized that I haven't yet done a Song Discussion on an ITW song yet, and I've always thought that "Steps" was a very underrated song in the show. It's my second favorite, after "Hello Little Girl", and I like how Cinderella get a song all her own. I also think that Cindy should've had at least one other song of her own (I don't count "No One Is Alone", seeing as four characters sing in that one), as I've thought that she was one of the more fully developed characters in the show. Thoughts on "Steps"?

I've been listening to Steps a whole lot lately, to learn it and then see how good I was at singing it, since I'm planning on auditioning for either her or the Baker's Wife when we do it at school, and I like it quite a lot. For some reason I listen to/sing through this one more than others in preparation for the audition. It's one of my favorite songs in the show as well, but I'm not going to rate it because I can't choose between the songs in this show.

I think it's a very good song. It gives a lot of insight into her character and is also very funny in it's lyrics and ideas.
I think that she only has one song because most of the characters only have one big number each. The rest are all songs with more than one character.
