My school is doing Some Enchanted Evening in the fall from Rogers and Hammerstein. I have never personally seen or heard of the show but i love roger and hammersteins work. From what i hear, it is a revue of differnt songs from their different shows from Oklahoma to Cinderella to South Pacific.

Soooo... usually when i audtion for a show i do something from a show by the same writter, so i'm not quite sure what to do. I know directors hate when you do something from the show that your auditioning for and i'm afraid i am going to pick something that is in the show...

i was thinking of doing something from Once Upon A Mattress since i know it and i think it was rogers daughter that wrote it. Would that be a good choice? And anyone that knows anything about the show or what to audtion i would appriciate it. I can belt or do a soft soprano and i'm not really good at much inbetween, i know weird... I have sung Fred from Once Upon A Mattress and Fantine from Les Mis.
