So... questions. Chicago.

School is doing Chicago.

We either have to sing "Roxie" or "Funny Honey" for our audition, no matter which part we are trying out for.

And I was thinking about auditioning for Mary Sunshine. Now, before you go "ew", I am probably the most legit in our school, and I can act when I sing, so I think I have a better chance of getting this part. And it could be fun. Everyone and their mother are auditioning for Roxie or Velma or Morton. And the director said that because we have a guy shortage, we will probably end up casting it non-drag.

My question is: which one of these songs should I do? Funny Honey is a little low, but I think I can kind of pull it off. Roxie is better for my voice, although I've been kind of sick so I'm cracking when I'm belting the B.

So after I decide which one to sing, I have another problem. Its a school tradition to dress up in character a little for musical auditions. Now since I'm going for a part different than Roxie, should I dress like Roxie, or Mary Sunshine?

Just give me advice.
Brain is having ADD problems. Sorry.

sing the one that suits u most, one is to low, one is hard beause you are sick, so go for the one you are most comfortable with/will sound best.
