Slow, slow...

Am I the only one who is still watching the strange layout of the forum? all extremely separated...etc Well it's getting really annoying to the sight... Confused

By the way... I reckon I'm not a very "active" member here, for many reasons... job, university but also because I don't know anything new related to our main topic... All I can show this time are the clips from youtube that I've recently found:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0ffwDYo00Q
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rb8aOzy9t4

I wonder if a musical about "real life" cats would have made a bigger effect on the public than the actual and classic Cats... Laughing

This forum is getting low of new sights... cmmon, artists bring us something new! Roller Boy? Asterix? Rallers, weren't you planning some fan art about all the characters from the musical?

Is there anything new and updated about fan art? I've been for ages wandering around the same sites... Rolling Eyes

i A gree with you sis
music is my life!!!

i'm not keen on the new layout either, dudettes

The layout problems make the forum very hard to read and unpleasant to use, I guess that's why people don't want to post at the moment?
Little_Nell

Agreed, it's getting annoying. What's causing it and how come no one's sorted it out yet?

The "Format"

The problem with our format at this time is not easily corrected. The moderators have a certain amount of control over the content, and Carbucketty has some further controls over content, and member status. Like most websites, the formatting of this one is controlled by the "owner". Carbie probably knows what the problem is, since he has had websites using the Forum coding, but he cannot get into the code that controls the formatting of MdN.

From what I can understand, the owner is extremely busy at this time, and the Forums are suffering for it. However, as all of us know, Real-Life can be very taxing, and a lot of things become very low-priority. Although the format is very problematic in reading and viewing, I can only recommend patience. If we could, the problem would be fixed yesterday...

There's low priority, and then there's no priority. I'm guessing it's the second option for this person, otherwise we might not have had to endure weeks worth of this.
Moongewl

I'm confused, as I see no formatting issues. Is it just me and my personal singularity?
Rumblepurr

Format?

Moongewl? You are not receiving the forums with twice-to-thrice the spacing between lines? Everyone else is...

Nope. Maybe my computer really does distort space and time or something.

Referring to just this board or, like, the whole kitten-caboodle? 'Cause this thing's just about the same as I've seen it, just minor changes. I'm probably off on it, though.

At least you've got good reasons. Wink My only real one at this point (I'm climbing that cliff-face to normalcy as we speak! A few slip-ups but I haven't fallen back into a pit of doom and gloom...not yet again anyway, and no sight of creepyass stalker) is that last bit of your's: nothing much to talk about.

ZOMGSIMON'SCAT.

I love those clips. Really, that's two of our cats. The other one's not a normal cat. He's a "oh my god I love you :O *lovelovelovepurrpetpetsnugglesleep*" cat.

I still wish I could animate because I'd so torment you all with 2-D animated biped-but-not-"Cats"-Cats-styled cats.

But I don't think there's much to cater to people to spark interest in cats. Even the theatre buffs in my school know NOTHING about it. "Angelliko Cats?" Me: ".....I'll take over this." They just caved in and cut it out of the school "epic broadway bananzaa shiznit".

I've been having a serious artblockage. I'm proud to have thrown out two measley pictures in the past month, nothing to them really. I can't get myself to draw anything unless it has a purpose. The fanart thing fell through because I have what I'd make it look like, but not what "it" would be. I've got the characters but not a scene, and I want to do the show justice and not a complete spoof-joke thing. Though NOW I'm getting ideas.

I need to talk here more. The ideas come crawling out when I talk about Cats at all.

Not on MY end. Michaela Olofsson does, though: http://kvitter.deviantart.com/ I'm sure it's old news, I'm behind on everything.
Spanish_Rumple

Michaela Oloffson is great! She's always creating a new character. I can tell she's pretty cross by people taking her characters for the RPGs... So in case this has something to do with Ms.Jellicle's RPG, I'm goin to draw a Wiskuskat of my own and offer it to the board, so that Ms.Jells can change Wiskas image of Michaela's Kvitter. Smile I hope I have it soon because I'm going to hang it here aswell so that we can give some life to the fan art section of this board. I've recently got inspired by a really beautiful furry grey cat with eyes of amber and little white paws... It was an amazing sight, the vet's cat from my street.

Let's see how it looks like with an antro shape...

You don't want to see how bad the formatting is here...
I have to hike the res on my computer to it's highest, just so I don't go as mad...
