Six Flags Audition PLEASE HELP!!!I have an audition for the live performers at Six Flags in a couple of weeks, and i have no idea what kind of music they'll be wanting at the auditions. I know they want 2 contrasting songs, but do they want show tunes, or would they rather have pop or country or something? Please help! I have no idea what to sing.
options i'm weighing:
"Tim Mcgraw" by Taylor Swift
"Almost Paradise"
"Gee Whiz (Look at his eyes)" -- done a bit like Kerry Butler's performance on
Sean's Broadway Chatterbox...it's on YouTube
"That's Entertainment"
"Stranger to the Rain" -- from Children of Eden
"Part of Your World"
"And I Will Follow" -- Jason Robert Brown and Lauren Kennedy
"One Way Ticket" -- Leanne Rhymes
Will take other suggestions!!!
PLEASE HELP!!!!

i don't know all of these songs..but i would say for a 6flags audition to do something pop. because it's not like hardcore theater from what i've seen. it's very pop-style, and i guess country would work too depending on where you live, but i probably wouldn't do anything from even slightly obscure musical theater for this.

A bunch of my friends have worked for Six Flags in New York. I would definitely recommend going pop and country, because, at least at the park in New York they had a pop show and a country show. There also at times have been a musical theatre show, but they mostly do pop themed shows and the outdoor country music show.

Why don't you do something both pop/country and traditional Broadway? Depending on your range, your Broadway song would probably have to be something from Les Mis, Phantom, Wicked, RENT, ect.
