Singin' in the Rain monologue help!!!!I'm auditioning for Kathy in Singin' in the Rain, and I have a lot of songs that I could use, but it's very hard to find a monologue from that era for that kind of spirited kind young girl but still a woman....anyone have any ideas for a monologue!? ooh! I'll be auditioning for the same show very soon, and would love if you'd share the songs you've chosen. 
For my production, though, there wasn't a monologue required, and I can see your frustration in finding that.. it seems rather difficult.. Much luck though! |

I didn't end up auditioning because I was cast in Oklahoma as Laurey (the productions run at the same time)...but for my song I was going to use either Gimme Gimme from Thoroughly Modern Millie, A Quarter to Nine from 42nd Street, or Anything Goes. |
