Similar ShowsThe seemingly obvious one would be the sequel, Bring Back Birdie, but that is set in 1980. I'd say similar elements (in music and time period) could be found in Grease, Hairspray, Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?, Little Shop of Horrors and Henry, Sweet Henry - but none of them is a particularly close match.Later days David |

Assuming this is related to your request on the "Audition Help" thread - you could consider: "Grow For Me" from Little Shop of Horrors, "It Takes Two" from Hairspray or "Those Magic Changes" from Grease. If you want somewith with an older vibe, you could edit pieces of "Mushnik and Son" Little Shop of Horrors from into a solo piece. Later days David |

My school just did Little Shop so I won't choose anything from that, but "It Takes Two" from Hairspray or "Those Magic Changes" from Grease sound like good ideas.
