silly Q about headshots

When putting headshots and resumes together, do you staple, glue, or paperclip them together?

I paperclip.
Kaaatrina

I paperclip them, unless I'm told not to. I just don't want to staple it or glue it, because if they want to look at the headshot only they won't be able to unfix it.

Actually we just had this huge conference thing and we has some speaker come from this big theatre in our city and she said always staple, it makes it a lot easier for them because sometimes the paperclips like to come un done and they lose picture with name. So to avoid that all together Put your name on the back of the photo.

TOTALLY AGREE!

Staple all four corners neatly and put your contact info on the back of your headshot, in case it gets separated from your resume...

Just chiming in.... always always staples. glue is just time consuming for you, paperclips can get undone and mess up their organization.

I always gluestick, I've seen stacks of P & Rs rip into each other from the staples, and get caught when filed in drawer files. A gluestick is faster to use, and takes up zero bulk in mailing of a big stack of P & Rs.

The very best is to print it straight onto the back if your printer is capable BUT, don't have it professionally done, or you'll be stuck w/ printed pics when your resume changes.

a paperclip is worst. There should be no way your pic and resume can be separated w/ out serious ripping effort.

many people also do the "mini-resume" on sticky-back for chorus call cards.

I don't, I usually just list 3 credits that are relevant for that particular call.

I print mine directly on the back of my headshot (just run them thru the regular computer printer.)

I've read somewhere that spray adhesive works well...
