Side by Side by Sondheim Question

What songs does Woman 1 sing? What is the main difference between her and woman 2? What is the vocal range? Thanks.
Melindaisy

I'm not sure I can be too much help on this. When we did Side by Side we had 4 women and two guys, and the songs were spilt between us. In our cast we had a high soprano with a belt (me), another soprano, and two altos.

I sang in: Getting Married Today, Can That Boy Foxtrot, Company Intro, Barcelona, Broadway Baby, You Could Drive A Person Carzy, Anyone Can Whistle (which, I think, was supposed to be a guy's song), A Boy Like That, Pretty Lady, You Gotta Get A Gimmick, and all the full company numbers.

Other soprano: If Momma Were Married, Little Things You Do Together, Can That Boy Foxtrot, Company intro, Au Paris, Buddy'd Blues, You Could Drive A Person Crazy, Send In The Clowns, We're Gonna Be Alright, Pretty Lady, full company numbers

Alto #1: You Must Meet My Wife, Company Into, I Never Do Anything Twice, The Boy From..., You Gotta Get a Gimmick,I'm Still Here, full company numbers, she also served as a narrator.

Alto #2: If Momma Were Married, Getting Married Today, Can That Boy Foxtrot, Company Intro, Another Hundred People, Buddy's Blues, You Could Drive A Person Crazy, A Boy Like That, You Gotta Get A Gimmick, Losing My Mind, full company numbers.

I can't remember actual ranges but I think that woman 1 is the alto and woman 2 is soprano. My highest note was in A Boy Like That, a Bflat 2nd octave above middle C.
