Haha this is hilarious. It really is weird, gosh.. I've always had a thing against poses like that, I always mocked those who did it. But I always took really ugly pictures, I thought that was hilarious..Sigh

Honestly, I use "the duckface" as a greeting, more than a pose. Especially when I'm at school and my hands are full. If I see someone I would generally wave to, I give them a quick duckface and it... translates.

Interesting term. Very descriptive! I think it's what is more traditionally referred to as a 'pout'. We were never allowed to pout as children - it was considered very bad manners and sulky/rude/ugly. A pleasant smile was always required whenever a camera was produced! | ||||
