Yesterday was Opening Night and tonight is our last performance.

Overall, it went SO MUCH BETTER than I ever expected. I'll admit it, I was seriously worried about this show. We had lost trhe majority of our cast last year with all of the people who graduated and about 80% of the cast were newcomers who were flaky and didn't know a thing about acting. We just weren't as close and ready as usual, but we put in a good show! I was a lady in waiting and one of the main dancers and the most noticable person on the stage due to my lime green hat and bright green dress.

Our closing night went even better! Nothing fell, no dropped lines like the first. In fact, I think the only problem we had was me.

The zipper on my dress ripped, like needs a new zipper and can't be fixed by showtime ripped. So, they found me a really nice dress. Sure, I could move my feet only half a foot around in diameter which sucked during the dances, and it was contricting and made me feel like a flower girl, but it was pretty and they used my orginal dress after Swamps of Home when Lucille shows Fred the dress(the dress I wore was the one they were using).

So a good show and I already have hopes for next year! Hairspray, Cats, West Side Story, if some miracle occurs and the rights are released/we get permission to do it: Phantom of the Opera/Sweeney Todd......
