Show Boat audition song- which do I pick?

So I have auditions in a few weeks, and thought I had a song all ready to go, and now I'm thinking... ehh, I want something else. Maybe. The only problem is, I'd probably have to learn a new song to do a new song, which I know is not good, learning something semi- last minute. I'm 26, soprano, and this is for a small community theater. Choices are:
"What Good would the Moon be?" from Street Scene (the one I know)
"My White Knight" (from The Music Man, but I would cut it in half, also know well)
"If I Loved You" (from Carousel, probably cut out the beginning part, don't know it hardly at all, but think I like it better than the first choice)
or.. possibly something from The Sound of Music, but choosing a song from SOM seems... corny, somehow. And I wouldn't know which one to do. I need something that shows off range, as Nola has a wide range, and all of those songs fit the bill (go to G, G-flat, and A respectively)
I'd like to be considered for the role of Magnolia (Or Julie, depending on what version we get- if her voice part is higher) or of course be in the chorus.
Any advice or other song suggestions?
Thank you!

My White Night.

I did Show Boat last year. Tons of fun! Break a leg!

You did??? Tell me all about it! What role did you play? What version? Did you have, make or rent costumes? What did your set look like?
I'm also going to be AD, so it will be a busy fun time, whatever role I get.
Seriously, PM me and chat. Do you have any pictures?

Thank for the advice btw, I was leaning towards that one too. Wink

I was going to say What Good Would the Moon Be? simply because I love that song......... but I think either that or My White Knight would work fine

I was just one of the dancing girls. I sang "Wicked Stage" with Ellie... that's definitely my favorite scene. I might have some pictures somewhere. Our costumes were old costumes the theater has had for years. They were hoop skirts and reeeeeeeally fun, haha.

Well, I found out the director doesn't think me suitable for the role of Magnolia (too old she said *?* I'm 26 and most people think I'm years younger), so I'm wondering if I should pick a different audition song that would be more suited to Julie or just something else in general.
MIMI- what version did your theater do? was it the revised version like the 1994 CD? Were Julie's songs low like on that CD, or higher like in the original?
I can't think of any song I know that would be "Julie" like though.
Any suggestions?

HAha... sooooo....
After all that, I got an e-mail from the director today asking if I would play Magnolia!!!!!!
I'm very excited!!!!!
