Should I See Miss Saigon?This show is touring in Cincy now. Should I see it? What's it about, because I'm not very familiar with it. Could somebody summarize it for me?

oh, definitely go see it! make sure to get good seats, too! it's one of the best musicals in the world! if i get the chance, i wouldn't even hesitate! such a great story, such great characters, and such great music!
you can find a lot about it by simply searching it online. it's a famous show and you'll know the reason why once you see it.

Definitely see it... an awesome score.
I think I'm seeing it when it comes through Cleveland- even though I've seen it twice already! I love it that much.

Bring some tissues! I cried from Sun and Moon until the end when I saw it on Broadway. The score is very moving and I think it's one of the best shows I've seen. Have fun!

i went and saw this and i thought it was a waste of my time, maybe it was the cast, or maybe its because the plot and storyline are stupid and the music in this is nothing compared to Les Mis, since the same ppl did it, i was just dissappointed and then she shot herself and i was glad it was over. thats just me though. too slow paced and i never like musicals based on real events like Vietnam War, they never seem to make great musicals, now if i wouldve seen it when my professor did, when tehy brought a real helicopter in it prolly wouldve interested me more, at least for that 5 minute frame.

See it. The show is BEAUTIFUL. The copter is too much, in my mind, but it still works. Either way, see.

Definetly go see it. To be honest, I like it more than Les Mis but shh don't tell anyone. I like all three of the B&S shows a lot, though.

I first went thinking "It doesnt look great, but I'll give it a go, get a cheap ticket in the gods..." (was only like the 3rd musical Id seen at the time)
...and I LOVED it! Was so glad I didnt lose the opportunity!

Miss Saigon is a gem; the music is beautiful, the characters are wonderful and it's just enjoyable.
Heads up though: I cried numerous times. During Sun And Moon, Last Night Of The World, I'd Give My Life For You, Room 317 (don't ask), Great Sacred Bird, and the Finale.
 Very sad. But still very good. One of my favorites.

..yeah..um.
It's called "The Sacred Bird" in the OLCR ( and when I loaded it on my comp, it called "The Sacred Berd" o.O ), and isn't a reprise to "This Is The Hour." However, there have been many rewrites, and in the CSR it is a reprise of "This is the Hour." I wouldn't be surprised if by now she simply sang Tam "Row, Row, Row Your Boat."

Yes! I haven't actually seen it but I know most of the music and it's a wonderful musical!
