should i be insulted????

one of my best friends (who would never lie to me) just told me that I remind her of one of the characters of the tv show, "it's always sunny in philadelphia"....just the way I act. is that a compliment?? i never seen the show nor have no idea where it's shown, nor care to look it up.

i told her thanks......

i "imdb'ed" it....but had no idea what it was talking about.

i still told her thanks. i honestly never heard of this show....but then again....i dont watch tv really.

If you don't give enough of a damn to find out whether it was a compliment or an insult, my guess would be that you're not bothered by it, right?

Re: should i be insulted????

Your best friend huh?

Then it wasn't an insult.

Your best friend will poke fun and criticize you...as well as the reverse.

Best friends don't insult each other. If you feel insulted, then despite what you call this person, he/she isn't your best friend.

The sad fact that you felt this need to create a thread about such a question says a bit now doesn't it?

Why don't tell us the name of the character <_<?

I don't watch the show, but I imagine most of the characters are likeable though, since it is a SITCOM.
wicked_boy

I've never heard of the show but...

If it was an insult, just take it with a pinch of salt, smile and shrug it off. No need to get worked up. I'm sure if it was your best friend they didn't mean it as an insult.

Not necessarily. No one is likeable on Seinfeld or Two and a Half Men, for examples.

Which character?

I love Its Always Sunny!

All the characters are assholes.
