Shakespeare audition dilemma

Hi everyone,
I am a 20 year old actress preparing to auditon for Richard III. I get to choose one 1-2 min monologue. I was hoping to do a monologue from A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Too overdone?
Furthermore, is doing a monologue from one of his comedic plays a mistake (for Richard III), or should I stick to one of the histories or tragedies?
I'd prefer to find something in my age range, which can be a challenge...

Help would be greatly appreciated! Very Happy

Midsummer Nights Dream is def very overdone. Would stick to one of the tragedies personally for audition pieces...

I just wrote on another thread to take a look at Isabella in Measure for Measure. Her monologue at the end of Act 2 sc 4 is good. Wrestling with the idea of sleeping with a man she hates to save her brother's life.

Finding a character your age shouldn't be difficult. Off the top of my head - you could look at Queen Isabel in Richard II. I can think of a ton of girls in the comedies, but I don't know the histories/tragedies well at all. oooooh, Hotspur's wife. What's her name? She's got a great mono at the beginning of some play... where she begs her father in law not to go to war and then she goes off on a sentimental tangeant about how everyone worshipped and emulated her husband before he died.
