I know who he is...Dear Musicals.Net Posters,I know who "the Ringmaster" is in the movie, but some sources call him "the Ringmaster". I don't know why they call him that, but they do. Is he really the MC, or the Manager of the Moulin Rouge? He can't be just plain Henry Zidler! That would spoil everything!

Have you actually watched Moulin Rouge? He's not a ring master - he's the owner. I can see where the ring master thing comes from, but if you'd actually seen Moulin Rouge you wouldn't call him that

Dear katethegreat, I just saw Moulin Rouge last night, and I "[called] him that". I didn't know what he was supposed to be called. If he's the owner of the Moulin Rouge, then he would be the Manager.

True - but I'm pretty sure he's never referred to as the manager in the film, just the owner. I used to be a bit obsessed with this film!
Back to my other question though, I LOVE Jim Broadbent, he'll go up as one of my favourite actors of all time, but SEXY?!?!?

When I first saw moulin rouge when i was like 9 or 10 I didn't understand it at all and Zidler terrified me.
Now that i'm older I like that jim broadbent a lot but i wouldn't call him sexy |
