Terribley sorry if I spelled seussical wrong... grammer is not my strong suite.

Anyways, I was wondering what it was. I know its based on Dr Seuss books, however what is the plot? the characters? vocal ranges?

The reason for my asking is because my directors are concidering doing it next year. Also I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum I wasnt sure where to put it.

I've seen it once, as far as I know it's based on the Dr Seuss books.

If I remember rightly it starts off with the cat inviting the audience to explore with their imaginations and see what kinds of "thinks" are there. At this point we kinda go through a big cat in the hat book on the stage.

To make a long story short, its about this elephant (Horton) who hears a cry for help from a speck of dust (which is actually a world full of tiny people called the whos), which he vows to protect. However all the other jungle animals think he's tripping out his tree talking to dust and they give him a bit of a slagging off for it.

The rest of the story is concerned with him and his adventure trying to save the whos. Plus there's a nice wee love story put in there for good measure.
