Sad

EponineMNFF

Oh I've forgot that I saw Lion King like three times when I was younger. What can I say? I was so into the lions.

Mine is far from impressive, but when you live in the south when things don't come that often....well, I have to deal.

Hairspray - 2 (once on broadway, once on tour)
Lion King - 2 (both on tour. amazing show. one of disney's best!)

But I'm hoping to see more stuff this fall perhaps. I'm still trying to convince my mother to take me to see some show for fall break. I have a need to see Spring Awakening, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Jersey Boys. There are other things but those are the main three.
Lady'sMaid

Not a ton, but:

Drowsy Chaperone: 2
Beauty and the Beast: 2
Spelling Bee: 2
Grease: 2
Rent: 2

and currently looking to get tickets for seeing SA for the second time.
Catherine

Jealous Quique!!

I've only seen 1 show more than once

Blood Brothers : 4

And soon to be Wicked: 2. And I wanna see Les Mis again too!
wtfchuck

i havent had the chance to see too many shows, the only show i've more than once is:

Mamma Mia x 3 (2 in London, 1 on Broadway)

But i plan on seeing Blood brothers and Cats again in the near future.

I think seeing a play again after performing it adds so much more understanding to it.
Paula74

Let's see...

The Phantom of the Opera - 19 times (18 on Broadway, 1 on tour)
Les Miserables - about 8 (mostly tour)
Lestat - 13
Sweeney Todd - 2 (revival)
Company - 2 (I'd have seen it as many times as humanly possible if it hadn't been in Seattle)
shakalakababy

dang Shocked how do you guys afford to see shows that many times? I couldn't even dream of doing that.

The only show i've seen twice is POTO (once in London, once in Las Vegas)
EponineMNFF

Quique, that is QUITE a list! Shocked

I just realized that I've seen Spelling Bee twice. I'm so bad at remembering this stuff. Laughing
Quique

I'm anal about this stuff. I still have all the programs and tix stubs from every show I've ever seen.
MrMusical1982

wow...let me see....

The Phantom of the Opera - since I was 9...I'm 25 this year...haha...many times a year.

The Sound of Music - 10+
Hairspray - 2
Grease - 10+
Moulin Rouge - 2

Many and many more...but the vote, even the fourth option is not enough for the number of times I watched The Phantom of the Opera. LOL!
The Very Angry Woman

A four-letter word: Rush.

At least in the case of Jersey Boys.

The other four-letter word: Time.

With Les Miz, it took me almost a dozen years to get to over 50 viewings.
Quique

My family and friends think I'm absolutely nuts for having seen Les Mis 26 times, but that was over a period of 20 years.
shakalakababy

well that's true. I'm only 17 so i guess i got more time to stack up shows Laughing
lckysvn777

Let's see:
POTO-2x (both on Broadway)
Rent-3x (2 on Broadway,1 on tour)
Les Mis-4x (all the revival)
Wicked-5x (4 on Broadway,1 on tour)
JCS-2x (both the A.D. tour)

I saw Miss Saigon once on Broadway.
I saw The Little Mermaid once on Broadway also but I'm probably gonna see it again this year.

With the exception of Miss Saigon and JCS I saw all the rest within the last year.
The Very Angry Woman

See, that's how old I was when I FIRST saw Les Miz.
MiLeZ

Union/Professional shows...

Beauty and the Beast - (around) 300
Phantom of the Opera - 3
Wicked - 2
Peter Pan - 1
musikal_geek

^When you say you saw Beauty 300 times, is that including the times you were onstage?
pennypingleton1994

Rocky Horror- 5
Annie- 4
Joseph- 3
Spelling Bee- 2
Hairspray- 2
Legally Blonde- 2 (don't know if the MTV showing counts....)
Astonishingg

On Broadway, just RENT (and only because I got free tickets a few times). I wouldn't want to particularly see a Broadway show multiple times unless the cast was dramatically different.

Broadway including community theatres? Of course. I've seen Grease like six times in the last month. I hate high school musicals season.
blue wind

you're a good man, charlie brown-3
wicked-6
wizard of oz-2
the miracle worker-2 (not a musical though)
peter pan-2
beauty and the beast-2
annie-2
the nutcracker-at least 2...maybe 3 i can't remember.

i'm planning on seeing the tours of rent, spring awakening, and legally blonde, and if i do that will mark the second time seeing each of those shows.

all other shows i've only ever seen once...and this is not counting like videos.
Sweeney Hyde

The question was not intended for me but I remember he said that it did.

I can honestly say I don't miss that egotistical snot at all.

I honestly thought I was the only one on this board that thought he was an egotistical snot. I called him out for it on the Wicked forum and got burned. lol

And then he goes and says I'm one of the problem members on this board. The nerve!!~
LesMisForever

Les Miserables: 13 (over 6 and half years)
Sweeney Todd: 2 (One in concert)

The rest only once.
Mungojerrie_rt

Professional shows:
CATS - 1 - 2000
POTO - 1 - 2008
Keating - 1 - 2008

Ammature
CATS - 3 - all 2007
Into The Woods - 1 - 2008

That is the entirety of what I've seen live. Crappy, but I bet Flit can better me in the sad stakes.

I hope to see the Rocky Horror tour, but I probably won't, and Wiked isn't touring.
