Seeing it tomorrow for the 1st time- what to expect?I'm going to my friend's HS show tomorrow, and I've never seen Evita in any form. I did a medley from Evita in grade seven for choir, but that's it. So I know the music, but I know NOTHING about the show, besides the fact that it's about Eva Peron. I think.
Seeing as it's a High School show, there will be the odd actor who I won't hear, or the lyrics will be inaudible, or SOMETHING. So, what should I expect? Just give me any information about the show... Thanks!

Evita is basically about Eva Duarte-Peron who was a poor actress who slept her way to the top of the Argentinian political ladder. She marries Juan Peron who becomes President. Eva is loved by millions & considered the nation's "spiritual leader". She eventually has a downfall.
It's a really great show. I just auditioned for it today :]

I'm glad you loved it! It's really a great show! Seeing it live blows you over, doesn't it. The movie is OK, but live....it knocks your socks off! ('course, everything's better live)
