Oh man...I want that hinged trinket box...so much... That's awful it's only available during November, and just from the middle of it to the end! Perhaps I'll find one on eBay later on. I'm currently having to save up a crapload of money for a new, better computer, an upgrade on Photoshop, an 3D animation program... *sigh*


...aaagh...they're all so beautiful...at least it's nice to find more and new (and such gorgeous) merchandise...

I think by "Mid to End November" they mean that as an approximate date for them to be in store from - they will definitely have them BY the end of November, maybe earlier. There's no business sense in stocking an item for only two weeks!!!

Dresscircle already have a similar range of Phantom of the Opera collectibles in store, they're rather lovely. If the Cats ones are of a similar quality they'll be well worth saving for!

There's a Munkustrap globe! Munkustrap! But the darn thing plays Memory! All of them play Memory. Don't get me wrong, I love Memory, but Cats has other good songs besides that one. I wonder why they don't have a Mistoffelees globe? The character globes should have the theme song for the character it's on.

I have a Memory music bell, that only plays the chorus part for Memory. I wonder if these music boxes will play the full tune or just the chorus?

VTWC, remember when you showed me your Grizabella and Old Deuteronomy music box that played Memory? Also your Grizabella figurine, both of those play Memory. Do they play the entire song or just the chorus? If they do, I wonder if the Really Useful Company just released the music box rights for the small section of Memory and never bothered to make a full version.

At least now in the West we have something that the Japanese don't have for souvenirs...snowglobes. Unless they've made some before. VTWC, ever see any Cats snowglobes before?

Nope, these are the first actual liscened globes, collectibles EVER put out for the musical. The Roman stuff, just had the characters as cartoony style real felines in costumes.

To date there has never really been any dolls, music boxes, or figurines of the actual CHARACTERS made up before. I would LOVE a Franklin Mint style doll like they did for Phantom of the Opera. Or even like the FAO version of the Ken and Barbie dolls they did for Phantom too.

But no, they have never made anything like this before! At last something WORTH collecting! I'm going to get them all of course, if and when I can afford it.

Almost ALL the collectibles usually just had the black and yellow cats eye logo. It gets pretty boring after a while to see every peice of merch with that on it. Keychains, t-shirts, coffee mugs, and the like. Or with the Video splash photo, boring.

These will be some very nice collectibles.

I wish they would make me a Tugger doll, a Misto Doll, a Victoria doll, and a Griz doll in a professional collectible way. Or Bom and Dem too, and Jemima/Sillabub.

I can only dream that there will be more things coming out like this in the near future.

I remember seeing a Rum Tum Tugger doll on ebay that was supposedly mint in box. It just looked like a baby doll someone painted. Probably a mint OOAK doll.

AHHHHHH!!!! I luff those music boxes!

My birthday was not long ago, and all my friends know how much I like CATS...But none of them could find anything to DO with CATS. My aunt even went to California looking for CATS merchandise! She lives in New Hampshire!

Now I can tell all my friends what to get me for Christmas...heh.
