Thank you for sharing that. I absolutely love Sara, that was incredible! |
||||
| Salome |
she's good but she's no D.Jamin Bartlett
| PappyCat |
She's so beauitful! | ||||
| Salome |
needs to lose a fe poounds though she's gained since Spamalot.
| Quique |
I had no idea she had such a strong and beautiful voice!
| PappyCat |
I disagree, I think she looks fine. I don't see why you feel the need to point out the fact that she's a little bit bigger every time she's brought up. She is definitely not fat, she is a very normal size. |

As far as I know, this was recorded in 2002 ... so, pre-Spamalot.
And please stop before this thread about a lovely performance from a lovely, talented performer gets turned into a "fat/thin" thread. |

the role of Petra is always a meaty girl.
and we can't compare the quality of voice on this live bootleg to a voice on a studio cast album. She was wearing a corset in Spamelot. |
||||
| Salome |
she isnt a normal size she's a rather heavy set..not fat but not a normal size. |
||||

It's close-enough...it's still a relatively healthy body weight.
Sorta like me. I'm 5 feet tall but like 125-130 pounds...yeah I could and probably should loose a few, but's it's not ugly or unhealthy. |

everyone stfu about weight and lets talk about her performance.
last time i checked this wasnt fatdebates.net seriously. this was a brilliant performance. |

Sara Ramirez is gorgeous and shouldn't loose a pound. Anyone who can't see that has a pretty twisted perception of what beauty is.
Anyways i want to reiterate that this is an amazing performance. I can't stop watching it. |

| Salome |
I already mentioned her performance. it was quite good but not as wonderful as D. Jamin Bartlett's definative one.

It wasn't that you didn't mention her performance ... it's that (and not just with you, Salome, in the world in general) every discussion of Sara Ramirez tends to focus at least in part around her weight ... not an extraordinary weight, either. Look on th IMDB message boards. There must be five or six threads solely about her weight.
What rankled me was that, in light of this tremendous performance, the second comment you thought to make was "she needs to lose a few." As star2ballie said (and I love you for this):
And yeah. If we're going to talk about her physical characteristics, all I have to say is that Sara is gorgeous, and she is proof that you don't have to wear a size 2 or have a chest measurement equal to your waist and hip measurements in order to be attractive. |

Brilliant. Now I have to go look longingly at the song in "All Sondheim Volume One" and wish I could sing like that.

Wow she has such a deep rich voice.
I love it! |
