No one really knows why. After he did Lion King for 3 years, he never really did much else. Who knows though. He was such a gorgeous man too! Sooooo talented... | ||

My friends all say that he commited suicide because he was Simba for too long. I hit them and say they are all loosers. I loved him and celebrate his birthday every year. He was a very performer.

That could be true, but the average actor that I know would say "Okay, I'm done here, could you have someone else fill my role?" instead of taking their own life. |

intresting story-
The Lion King Cheetah tour came through a while ago here (san antonio tx) and the night i saw it i was walking with Derek, Damian, & Phil (zazu,timon,pumbaa) and a man shoot himself infront of the theatre after the show. i don't think there was a connection, but it was opening night and just something to think about. |
