Loppy Poo

It's really tragic...I saw him in TLK and he was really a talented man with such a bright future
Fantine

What happened to him? He must've been quite young?
Megera

He was 28. Apparently, it was suicide.

the Oneonta Connection

I live in Oneonta too. As I understand it from the obit in my local paper, he performed at Oneonta High School, where I attend. But suicide......holy poo.
Fantine

But why... (yes I know this is a late post)
The_Wicked

No one really knows why. After he did Lion King for 3 years, he never really did much else. Who knows though. He was such a gorgeous man too! Sooooo talented...

His Endless Night is a definate spine chiller....and to think it's already been more than two years Sad

My friends all say that he commited suicide because he was Simba for too long. I hit them and say they are all loosers. I loved him and celebrate his birthday every year. He was a very performer. Sad

Oh my, I can't believe that! That's so sad - what a waste

That could be true, but the average actor that I know would say "Okay, I'm done here, could you have someone else fill my role?" instead of taking their own life.

intresting story-

The Lion King Cheetah tour came through a while ago here (san antonio tx) and the night i saw it i was walking with Derek, Damian, & Phil (zazu, timon, pumbaa) and a man shoot himself infront of the theatre after the show.

i don't think there was a connection, but it was opening night and just something to think about.
Salome

I saw him in JCS bfore he did lion king.. talentd but woefully miscast as pilat at 20 years old.
ALoneWanderer

He was amazingly skilled, it's such a shame he isn't around today.
beck

that happened a while ago, and i just saw this post, but that is still very sad. its so unfortunate when someone with such a bright future is lost like that. but to him, his life must have seemed much less bright.
broadwaybelle22

I think I heard somewhere that he jumped out of a window. But I'mnot sure...
