Sad moment?Everyone have their own sad moment. I have when Collins in RENT says that this is the end for their own little family. But I don't think any of you cryed when Frankie died in Rocky Horror Show. It was just funny , or?

For me, it's that one line in Carousel:
"But is it possible, Mother, for someone to hit you hard like that - real loud and hard, and it not hurt you at all?"
and then when Billy and Julie sing the "If I Loved You" reprise. I am crying so hard EVERY time!

The bit in South Pacific where Bloody Mary comes to Nellie with Liat and askes "Where is Lootellan Cable?", after we've just heard that Cable's been killed.

For me the saddest moment is the ending of THE KING AND I. The king's son, Chulalongkorn (sp?) starts to inform the court how to bow to the king in a western way instead of getting on their hands and knees. He keeps on talking as the gorgeous "Something Wonderful" crecendos and drowns his voice. At the same time, in the background, without anyone noticing, the King dies. Anna turns to glance at him and sees he's not moving. She walks over to him and takes his hand, realizes he has passed away, and slowly sinks to her knees to honor her friend one last time, by lowering her head so that the King's head is higher than hers. And to this scene, with "Something Wonderful" reaching its end, the curtain falls.
I have never cried as much in the theatre as I did when I saw this revival! And I still cry everytime I watch the movie...
