So I got a callback for Sacramento Theatre Company's Music Circus. I'm nervous because it's my first callback for a professional theatre. The audition was for the whole series but I know that I'll have the best chance for "Hairspray".

For the initial auditon I sang "Beethoven Day" from YAGMCB, but i'm not sure what to sing for the callback. They just said "Sing your best song". Well. Beethoven Day is my best! But I'm in the Wiz right now and I'm the Scarecrow, so I was thinking maybe "I Was Born On The Day Before Yesterday".

Callbacks are Tuesday.

Thoughts? Ideas?

We'll see I guess...there is still today. I'm off work in a little bit so I'll have to check my messages when I get home.

And I suppose there is a small chance of being cast in an ensemble without going to callbacks. So all hope is not lost yet

As for your song choice, I like Beethoven Day. But I'm more familiar with that than the one from The Wiz. I would just choose whichever one you feel more comfortable singing.
