Rush tickets for the Chicago production.I live just a cheap train's ride from Chicago, and I often go into the city to see shows and operas, etc. I haven't seen Jersey Boys yet, and I've been considering taking my girlfriend to go see the show.I understand the basic idea of rush tickets...
This sounds like it might be worth a try...does anyone who has seen the Chicago production know when people line up for said rush seats? Are we taking 8 o'clock or 6? If it matters, I'm shooting for a Wednesday matinee. The earliest I can get into the city is around 5:30. I could always get there nice and early to get the tickets, then my girlfriend can meet me down there later. Even if I don't get the tickets, there's still a good day in the city there. Should I try to get these rush tickets? |

My roommate rushed the show on a weekend matinee about a month ago. She and some of our friends got there around 8 and were the first ones, and within about 20 minutes a ton of other people showed up.
What puts a wrench in things is they sell rush seats for BOTH performances on a two show day at the same time, so you'd have to get in line with the people rushing for the matinee. |

I agree with you "Very Angry Woman" !!! I have experienced the same thing and was so annoyed by this. It kind of gets your evening off to a bad start. Maybe someone will figure it out and change the way they are handling it. Otherwise, there will be more than one "Very Angry Woman" !!! |

I never have had a problem with ticketmaster but many people do say they have bad experiences with them. I would say keep trying. |
