here is my dilemma.
please help me decide..

as this is international i'm not sure everyone will understand this but i'll try to explain.

in australia there is this thing called a rock esteidford. its a HUGE performance thing that schools prepare and work on for at least 6 months before hand and its just massive. basically at the end all the schools in the state go to this huge concert place and perform them and so on you go to nationals.. yada yada..
the performance is mainly dancing and so on, and you usually get around 100 students working together in a school.. so on..

and our school has never done one before.
my friend really wants me to help him organise a thing to show the teachers about it, and our vice principal has already said "sounds great" .. and so on.. but im not really sure if i should do it or not..

not to sound selfish, because i know there are alot of other people that will feel the same way as me at my school, but ...

each year we do a school production. this years a musical, next year will be a play. but next year if we do the rock esteidford, we most likely wont do the play. cutting out the play will be really sad because i actually have a chance of really getting a part and .. yeah.

but if we do the rock estiford, everybody will get so into it and its such a great atmosphere..

so basicly.. what should i do?
try to get teachers into the rock estiford thing or what?

but i really want to do a play. but we cant do both.
