I saw her. I thought she was pretty good, not amazing, but good. I liked the person who played velma kelly more though. I can't recall her name.
btw I'm new here but i've been lurking on these boards for a LONG time. finally got the courage to post. yup

I saw her. I thought she was pretty good, not amazing, but good. I liked the person who played velma kelly more though. I can't recall her name.

Was it a black girl? Cause I saw her and Rita and I DEFINITELY thought the velma was better...everything she sang she did with ease...loved her!

i believe it's brenda braxton as velma, who is very sassy and very talented. mdj and brenda together are my favorite roxie/velma duo.
if you go this week i believe that's who you'd see, which is a great night at the theatre!
otherwise i dont know who it would be, unless perhaps an u/s.
glad rita doesn't suck!
