resumesI'm going to an audition for Into the Woods next week and I need to update my resume. I recently performed in a musical theatre cabaret at my college, and I'm wondering is this something I could add to it? If it is, what exactly would be the form I would put it in? Would it go under a seperate heading from the rest of my theatre credits? Also, would I need to put the songs that I performed?
Many thanks for any answers.

I think any work any theatre work can be put on an acting resume. I mean really there's no harm in adding it, and people will be able to see that you do work in various difference places.

You could put the cabaret in one of two places. If you have done more than one cabaret or concert, you can put it under a "Cabaret" heading.
OR you can put it under "Special Events" which could include: Singing the national anthem at a football game, winning a competition, etc.
Hope that helped!
If you want to PM me, I could help you if you want. I will forward you my website, so you know I'm not psycho and you can see how my resume is formatted. That might help...
