RENT West End LondonWas RENT theater version a flop here in the UK? If so why? I just assumed because it ran for a few months only.

It never caught on at the Shaftsbury theatre, but I heard it began to garner a following when it went on tour.

well... my friends said (before I came here to the UK) that the tour was unsuccessful. But really, Everyone in our theater company wants to do it. Thanks for the info though.

It did go on tour about 2001 I think.
