Rent Stage

Does anyone have a picture of the Broadway stage of Rent? I can't find one anywhere.

Google isn't my friend. Sad
musikal_geek

Like, with the set and everything?
wicked_boy

^ Yeah.
Google doesn't even come up with production photo's.

That's because when a show is named something which is a fairly common word in everyday English language usage, you have to be more specific.

I've tried Rent the musical. This is all I can find:

Isn't that what you're looking for?

That pic is basically it...it's not like some huge complex set or anything.

Unless you need like a big picture

The only part I really want to see is the big tower thing that's the Christmas Tree, steeple (sp?)... umm, I can't remember what else it says in the libretto, but ya know what I'm talking about. I can sort of see it in w_b's pic, but I would like a close-up if possible! Very Happy

I had pictures of the set somewhere but i can't seem to see where they went. But that one picture seems to be everything.

I thought it would be like a different set for every scene. Is the set sort of like Cats, as in they have one set for the entire show, with different objiects to represent different places?

I've only saw the movie.

And thanks for calling my w_b, m_g, I've never had my screen name abreviated (sp?), I feel special! Smile

^Nope, same set. There are many different levels and stuff, and they can move the tables around.

And you are welcome!! LOL

It must have been hard for them to turn the stage set into movie sets.

Not really, considering they're two completely different mediums.

Get thee to YouTube; it'll clear up the fogginess...

I've had a good surf on Youtube, it's good to see the differences.
