I love Fosse's all that Jazz. Really gets into his style of dance and his life. Little crazy of a movie but I really like it. | ||

Gene Kelly is the most amazing dancer in the history of the world, hands down. I know Fred Astaire was first, but he lacks Gene Kelly's charisma, and he isn't as good of a singer or actor. | ||

Completly different performers and dance styles. Too hard to compare. It's like comparing this Benji and Travis from this years So you think you can dance, they are both great in their fields but picking between the two as to who is the better dancer is not a fair comparison. |

i agree. however i will add that Astaire strayed many times from musical films to geat success. Whereas Kelly succeeded only once away from the musical genre.
Kelly was brillant as the Menken role in Inherit the Wind. Astaire managed great non musical rilesi n Towering Inferno,Ghost Story and others. includi a stint on Battlestar Gallactica as Starbuck's possible dad. |
