Razor/chair rental.Hi there.
My college is putting on a production of Sweeney later this year and I'm just wondering if anyone has any links/details for anyone I can get in touch with to look in renting razors and/or a chair.

There used to be a guy around here...Benjamen Barker I think his username was...who used to hand out all sorts of information about what you're looking for...although I don't think he's been on for quite some time...

Maybe a local barber could provide you with some? |
The razors used in the show are special props which hold fake blood...rather like a water pistol.
And if I were an actor, I really wouldn't want the guy playing Sweeney to be waving a real razor near my throat!

Yup, that's why I'm currently looking for prop razors.  And thanks Sweeney, I've pmed him. He was last on a couple of weeks ago.

You could probably get hollow plastic ones from a costume shop, put a whole in them, and plug the whole with a bit of hot wax or something.
