This thread mostly applies to the folks who have seen the touring cast, but in the touring cast Ray DeMattis plays the role of Mushnik. Now, granted, Mushnik is not supposed to be a likeable character, but when DeMattis played him, he didn't seem as ruthless as when Hy Anzell or Rob Bartlett or Vincent Gardenia played him. To be honest, I cried when DeMattis's Mushnik got eaten. He seemed more like a favorite uncle than a villain. And for that, I salute Mr. Ray DeMattis. Any comments?
