Rawr!

Most of the characters in Jesus Christ Superstar have insane vocal ranges..
Judas and Jesus both have a high E written in the music at one point, and Judas pretty much has half of Damned for All Time on a constant B.
Jesus is also insanely hard, as even though a lot of it can be less intense, its still up there most of the time, and you want a very pure tenor voice..
Judas can be done by a higher baritone, but it usually doesn't go well. :/
Turpin from Sweeney Todd is a horrendously wide bass range.
Then again, some people can do it... (I'm 16 and can sing a C two octaves below middle C to the A above middle C.)
But a pretty wide ranged part (not particularly big, but challenging if you do it the way its usually interpreted, is Caiaphas.
C two octaves down to the F above middle C.
Yeah, my thoughts.
I type too much.
and am kinda dumb. =[

Welcome to the boards.
I agree with the topic. JCS is crazy hard to sing.
